During the cold season, I like to incorporate immunity fighting foods into my everyday meals. Some foods that are great at fighting germs are garlic, lemon, and ginger. This dish combines all three of them with a little chicken broth for an extra immune boost. Try it now!
Lemon Ginger Broccoli
Ingredients
- Crown of broccoli
- 1 lemon zest and juice
- 2 cloves garlic chopped
- 1 tbsp ginger peeled and chopped
- 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth (I like Pacific Organic Low-Sodium Chicken Broth)
Instructions
- Chop the broccoli into small pieces and set aside
- Take a pan and add the chicken broth, garlic, ginger, and lemon zest, and juice
- Saute for three minutes
- Add the broccoli and cook until soft and bright green
- Let cool and serve
